Replacing Batteries

For those of you replacing batteries, which are only to be used for about 3 years, you may want to consider a 31 series battery; however you will have to make sure it will fit in your battery box without modification. You can also modify your battery box if necessary, or have us do it, to use the larger 31 series batteries, which will certainly give you better service life and is less stressful on the battery.

Also, an agm battery is the best, also the most expensive. The reason is because normal lead acid batteries short out. That does not happen to Agm batteries and they typically last 5 years instead of 3. That means that the extra cost pays for itself so there is really no incremental cost of them in overall ownership, just the first purchase upfront cost.
